The Yoga Mala is a true celebration of human spirit! Since 2009, our yoga community has been coming together every year for a joyful fundraising event. At the Yoga Mala, you will be met with heartwarming stories of physical and emotional healing, tender reunions and have the opportunity to make meaningful new connections. The three-hour yoga session taught by passionate teachers in our YiA community will include 108 Sun Salutations, plus time for meditation and restoration. The yoga practice is followed by a community gathering.  Nourishing refreshments are included in your ticket price! The event is sure to leave you replenished and inspired!  Yoga Mala is accessible to all levels of yoga students, with chairs available for those who want them.

The Yoga Mala provides a time to celebrate the healing gifts of yoga and build community resilience, together. You can participate in the Yoga Mala from anywhere in the world! (A Zoom link will be provided the day before the event).

Yoga Mala is not only an incredible stand-alone event. It is also Yoga in Action's largest annual fundraiser, with a goal to raise $50,000 to fully fund 10 of our classes for an entire year!

Thank you to the thousands of yogis, present and past, and all additional donors for their efforts to support Yoga in Action’s mission to increase access to therapeutic yoga for at-risk and vulnerable populations in our community. We envision a future where all  have access to the profound therapeutic potential of yoga regardless of social, physical, and financial barriers.
