Step into a transformative dance journey designed to awaken the untamed, hidden, and often unexpressed parts of yourself. Guided by powerful music, deep bass, and primal rhythms, you’ll be invited to move beyond performance and into raw, embodied expression. Together, we’ll explore the emotions, desires, memories, and inner landscapes that so often remain beneath the surface, giving the “shadow self” space to be witnessed, felt, and liberated through movement.
This isn't about choreography or getting it right. It is about surrender, release, and reconnecting with the full spectrum of your humanity in a held and intentional space. As the journey unfolds, we will gently guide the nervous system back into integration and wholeness through a nourishing sound journey designed to ground, soothe, and reconnect you to yourself.
The flow of the night:
6:45pm: Doors open, Warmup and Arrive
7:00pm: Opening Circle
7:15: Free Dance with DJs Ankati & Breezy Bruce
8:45: Soundscape & Closing Circle
There are four guidelines.
Consent is the law of the land. Every dancer is welcome to their space; if you want to dance with, hug, or otherwise share contact with someone, get permission first.
No talking on the dance floor; please speak in quiet voices in the Chill Space only, and let the music and movement guide the dance!
No phones on the dance floor, including videos or photos of the dancers. Take this time to engage directly with the world and set your screen aside!
This is a substance-free dance space, and we hold a high value on clarity of presence: please do not arrive intoxicated or partake in substances during the dance. We get naturally ecstatic on the movement, not on alcohol or drugs.
